anybody got any experience,feedback, thoughts with this version of supercharger and engine management?

Thoughts only I'm afraid: FM certainly have a good reputation overall, but I can't recall anyone on this forum advising they have one of these. Should be plenty of info on the big forum though (Miata.net). My impression is that in the States there seems to be a preference for simple engine management solutions. Clearly this is more economical, but not always better.

Not sure if you're aware but a forum member has an FFS for sale:

If you have a look at the supercharger sticky above you'll see at least couple of forum members are running the FFS. Good luck.

thanks...bit hard to find any info, seems to be alot of people out there who have leakage probs with the MP62
I was wondering if this has been overcome

Apols for not responding, but have been away. Most of my reading has been about the M45 so I don't know a lot about the MP62. However, from what I've read, there have been various issues previously, but I think the kits have matured to the point where they're reliable. Obviously there are exceptions, & it's those that tend to be visible on forums when kits are not fitted correctly or being used in ways they weren't designed for. I also think that the rationalisation of suppliers/ kits has possibly helped reliability as there's a better focus on getting a few kits properly sorted.

The FM kit is based on the older BRP kit, now under the guise of Stage One Tuning (SOT). SOT manufacture the kit, utilising the MP62, and have FM in the US and me (www.performance5.com) in Europe as distributors.

It's a very solid kit, and intercooled/ECU'd (TDR/Adaptronic e420c) can make 250+bhp. We've got a couple of customers running 266bhp and 277bhp on 2001+ engines. I haven't used the Voodoo box, I match the system up with either the E-Manage or Adapronic for a better results.

The biggest issue is throttle volume when the stock throttle is moved. We've solved that by using a 'dual' throttle set-up.
