has anyone dealed with this mob?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... %26otn%3D4
i was just having a look, and my drivers seat has a few tears in the base and is starting to wear out where i rotate my bum getting in and out (if that makes sence).
Just seams like an alright deal. i wonder i if i could go and have a look at them. might ask the question.

Seat retrimming
regie i was having a look at it this morning. silvermiata mentioned it to me. it looks good. i have emailed the seller with regards to what the backing of the chair is - whether it is leather, or vinyl, or cloth or a mixture. waiting for a response.
if there is enough interest, we can arrange a group buy? i am half keen on them, depending on the response.
garry's replaced his seat covers himself - apparently it takes a loooot of patience.
might try DIY. if not, i am guessing it will be about $300-$400 having it fitted by a trimmer.

yeah true.
i just sent him a message seeing if i can come and have a look at the covers.
yeah it would be intersting what the back of the seat is made of. even though it prolly doesnt matter much.
but yeah lemme know of your response and ill post up my response when i get one

What do you want - original or something else? If you have some minor damage try a trimmer for a quote. Leather- well maybe they are and perhaps it is partial or even fake- sometimes difficult to tell. For 2 seats $600 plus fitting. It might be an idea to price replacement covers from Mazda and do it yourself or use a trimmer- compare leather x2 to one (1) replaced OE cover? There is info on how to replace the covers yourself and I would give it a go. Also look elsewhere on the forum where a forumite apparently bought new seats trimmed in leather for about $200 each.

Hi Buddy, thank you very much for the enquiry. The listing is for the covers only, not the bucket seat. You need to strip the old covers off, then fit the leather one on. They are not hard to fit, but I would rather let the trimmer
to do the job. I can do $600 all up (supply&fit)We're located at Silverwater.
