We have taller passengers over here.

Wonder how many of these bars Dylan's sold now

My bar heights are the same.

Keep in mind that when we did 99MXV's car the NA8A seat belt bolts were a different diameter to the NA6A.

This photo shows the difference between the bolts.

Note: Buy them through the wreckers. Mazda will only sell them with a complete seat belt set  Even though the bolts are longer, the stupid cover caps for the NB are grossly oversize and foul on the bar hoops. They need to be carved on the inside so they don't foul or use NA8 caps.

Need help with installation, it's driving me nuts! (NA car) I have an N*power style bar and it sits right against the zip of the soft top, or right up against the glass of the hardtop. Has anyone had this problem?
2 quick questions:
1. Did anyone have to grind down the metal underneath the plastic of the car, where the seatbelt tower is in this picture, Or grind down the metal of the roll bar itself? The reason I ask this is I can tell my roll bar sits too high because the bolt holes on the back part (where the bolt is visible in this picture) don't align properly. However I've already taken away all the plastic I could take
2. How do you even manage to get that bolt on (the silver one visible in this picture), how do you get inside that metal structure underneath everything?
