Fitting NB Panels > NA

So my passenger side NA door lock has been jimmied and looks like crap, the lock is broken.

I was thinking, seeing as how I've almost lost patience with the NA door handles if NB doors can be fitted straight up.

Failing that, is it too stupidly expensive to think about getting NB door handles grafted into the doors?

I'll probably put window rollers in at the same time and lose the power windows.

Thoughts?

I cannot help you with the door handle interchangeability but I can comment on the window winders. On larger cars I reckon power windows have saved my neck on a few occasions. In very bad weather conditions the passenger window can easily be iced up and not able to be seen thru. Come to a T intersection to turn right - look to the left and the thing you want to do fast is get the window down because you cannot see- whilst the MX5 is small and most can reach the winder some may find that difficult esp juggling a floor change. Manual winders are a old technology and still require a mechanism. Power windows are in my opinion a good innovation. If your windows are not working properly then some work needs to be done to renovate them. The motors are usually very robust and fail for simple reasons.

You will find that the NA and NB doors are very diffferent with the NA being fairly square and flat where as the NB has a round edge at the bottom that was designed to follow the same lines as the RX7.
