aircon sudenly stopped working?

my aircon flat out does not work. I got it re gassed less than a year ago and replaced with a new compressor and pipe work. It worked the other day and just blows hot air now. Could it be a fuse? the light still comes on and it would not be a belt as I still have power steering. any ideas?

When mine ran out of gas, the light stopped coming on and the compressor wouldn't run (ie no power loss, nor idle rev changes). Hopefully that info will help in diagnosis.

After looking at simple things like blown fuses and wires coming unplugged take it to an A/C place and check to see if it has any gas.
Shiney black one with added red bits. Member of the fart club. Now with extra doof and Sunlong. - deceased and gone to heaven

the light is on but I am pretty sure there is no power loss to the engine when I turn it on so is there a switch or something on the pump that could be broken?

On the front of the pump (Well NA anyway) there is an electric clutch perhaps that clutch isnt kicking in or the wire that controls it is loose or has become disconnected?

I have removed AC but when I push the button the light still turns on.

Maybe a leak??

i am thinking it may be a loose wire - i will have a look over it and see what happens.
