SC12 supercharger on an NA8
Sealed unit using a very expensive Toyota oil. I still wouldn't trust it being around 20 years old.

Good article on all the available Jap superchargers. The SC14 would be the best because it doesn't have a dipstick like the SC12 so mounting options are greater.

What oil is used in the blower?
The blowers come ready to use with sealed bearings at the front, the oil used in the rear can be any light gear oil such as Castrol VMX 80 or equivalent.
Link from the below website. So you don't need "Toyota Oil" & you can see the setups on Holden 6's.

How about a front side install
Crank dríven on Dad's MGTC drawing through a 2 inch SU and blowing 12psi on a 1250cc engine - 2.04 at Eastern Creek yesterday on avgas. He tried methanol in practice but needs larger fuel lines as it was starving too much. Difference was major in the power stakes though, but he may need a much larger fuel tank - 20 litres for 7 laps on partial throttle!!
