This is my second engine build....the first was simply to make the engine I bought with the car stop spewing oil out the exhaust pipe. 10:1 compression pistons, ported head and new rings/bearings/seals made it better.
This one has been on the stand for 3 years now, I bought the engine back in 2006, with parts being bought as they (or cash) becomes available. After 4 years I finished my Management Degree last year so now I have more time to spend doing stuff I like.
As for power? I expect more than stock.....perhaps as much as 100kw. The engine closely replicates the build standard of a better 4AGE, so I might squeeze it up to 105kw when I fit and tune the eManage Blue.
Once the manifold for the Quads is finished, then I might get another KW or three.
Turbo = more power for less $$$$, but I like revvy engines. My wife's car is a Mazda 6 MPS. My previous car was a HSV. I am not looking for bulk power in this car.
