Keith Keith Ketih, mate sounds like we just gonna have to let this one go.... As you seem a decent bloke + you got an MX-5.

However I used to ski for around 5years, but i couldn't quite bring myself to buying one of those dodgy skin tight all in one body suits that they all seem to wear!!! Plus all these cool kids were whizzing past me in there baggy pants and cool jackets on this flat piece of wood thingy....!! Then i woke up the next day and converted over to the Darkside.....

Hey we could arrange a trip upto Mt Buller (when snow is there of course!) and have a little race to see which is faster???? Maybe even have a little bet on it too perhaps?? :|
What do ya say???? :P

As for snowboarding, not enough speed :P I have been skiing since the late 60's.

Good luck with your tyres.

Mr Boags....

I think you need to join us at Mt Buller too!! Sort this out once and for all!!! :x :P

Snowboarding is for girls. It's easy to pick up, easy to get good at and the equipment is more comfortable.

Skiing is much more challenging and rewarding. Real men are pricks on sticks; not gays on trays...  :o

Sits back to watch the storm of replies. My useful input into this thread has come and gone. 8)

By the way how come you don't have an MX-5????? :?

Long story short, my first car was a R31 Skyline wagon and so started my obsession. The reasons why I am here can be put down to a member called -alex, and that the MX-5 crowd are generally more track orientated than your usual "slam it, tint it, add a set of chromies and make it dose" Skyline crowd.

I like MX-5s, but I don't see myself in one. I think they are best for making me push harder to keep up :)

I haven't skied Buller but if I need some serious speed I will get the old 200 out. We will leave the skiing and snowboarding for now and hope we get some good snow this season.
The photos of the car look good. :) One mod a number of NC owners are doing is to drop the ride height by approx 25mm.

Craig
Wow you must be sore...
Very; at times.  The lack of sleep gets to you.

Ok KRM, i see you running scared now mate  heee hee. Just give us a shout when you ready though and i will crack the old burton custom out.

I agree that my 1st little project will be to get her lowered a little as they do sit a little bit too high for my liking.

I noticed on a few threads that Eibach seem to be the preferred choice (correct me if i am wrong)? Or are there any others you know off that can do the trick? Don't want to pay anymore than the Eibach's to be honest.
