There's been a change of plans.

After several requests I have added a 3rd special stage to the trip down on Saturday. I reccied it today and it adds about 10 minutes to the trip. So we'll need to be on the road around 7:45am if we want to have lunch at a respectable hour, not 8am as advertised. That means we'll be getting to Yass for morning tea around 10:15am for everyone that is meeting us at Yass not 10am as advised earlier. Sorry for any inconvenience.

All this stuff will be in the Email I intend sending this week.

Only 13 more sleeps :mrgreen:

Hey Garry, looking at the run details that are up now.
The meeting point is Pheasant's Nest Mobil (East)...
Is that Outbound from Sydney?

Yeap, heading south to Melbourne. There is also a Mobil servo on the other side of the road (western side) for north bound traffic. But there is a road under the freeway conecting the two together.

Well, after our trip to Melbourne the Roadster was getting well low on rubber... and an opportunity to good to miss came up, so i've thrown on some overkill to tie me over until some new shoes arrive (hopefully soon).

Well things appear to be changing hourly. This hour we have 15 cars with 24 or 25 people depending on whether your ballast decides to go Hammer, but that could change at any moment.

Just an FYI, they are doing resurfacing works at Pheasants Nest on the outbound side of the freeway at the moment (i pass through there each day). Noticed a few loose stones going through there last night, as they have stripped back the top layer of tar in the outer lane. No issue going through there, just something to look out for. They were back there this morning and it was all down to one lane, don't think they'll be there tomorrow (ha!) but don't think it will be finished either.
