Advanced Milk Crates 101

Postby Pamex » Fri Feb 20, 2009 9:41 am

I thought I might post a quick photo I took with the phone as I was heading into work this morning. New seats and harness.

There's a story to go with every worthwhile install. It's taken me about 4 months to get these in. The day has arrived and MY GOD the drive to work was good from MX5 Factory.

A big thankyou to MX5 Factory for all the hard work they did. No wonder I had an interesting time, apparently they did too.

A big thankyou also goes out to Fattima who sold me the seats.

I just need to give them a vacuum now.

Test runs available next week at el garage.

I gota get me some !

Does it get annoying doing up the 4 point harness every time you get in the car for daily driving? Or do you just fold them out of the way and use the normal seatbelt?

I actually drove to work with the harness on this morning to test it out. I think normally I'll probably just fold it out of the way though.

I haven't done any long trips yet, but they were great to sit in this morning! Really nice and snug. Wish I could go for a test run up Dandy right now. I should have taken the day off.

Indeed! A pure stroke of luck that one.

Unintentionally, I might be putting in an OMP steering wheel too down the track. All we need now is for the group buy on that knob and my interior will be well matched.

Great to see them in the car!
I was worried when I saw you last you may not have been happy with them so you had not fitted them. They look great in the car, maybe I should have lost some weight and kept them

Now to get the car on the track

Not frustrated with the seats, frustrated with the hold ups. Well worth the wait though. I just went for a 'run around the block' on my lunchbreak.

Never fear, that car will certainly be seeing the track soon.
