Hey Geoff I think you will find you will want a smaller nose pulley.
Don't forget you got a crank pulley overlay with your kit but you might want to see if Danny will make an extra water to air intercooler for you first!

I've edited my error Tim, thanks for pointing it out
Not really decided which way to go yet, I'm looking at the various IC options and really like the one from the Brisbane firm. I reckon the "smaller" pulley is maybe a good interim stage

Big G, given you already have the BBK fitted, if you fit the smaller SC nose pulley, an IC or water injection will probably not be optional to realise any further gain.

A few months back I also called on Rupewrecht (Dan) to supply a pair of Mazdaspeed seats. They were in very good condition but needed just a little TLC to bring them back up to schmick condition.
In preparation for this Thursday's club trackday I fitted a Sparco 3" 4-point harness which will share duties with my NC once it finally hits the track. I have the crotch strap assembly for when it is used in the NC. Here's how they look....
Cheers,
Danny

Yeah they look great, sometimes MS seats look like a pack of fruit tingles but they look shmick in those pics.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Nice. I think it's the first time I've seen the harness holes being used.

Yesterday was the first club track event for the year . Well what an absolute hoot . The supercharger, lightweight NB6 flywheel and NB8B 6-speed has certainly transformed the car....so much so that I really struggled to get my hand to position the gear knob where it needed to be to select the right gear in the first few sessions. A couple of times when I was shifting from 4th to 5th I found 3rd and saw the tacho go well beyond 8,000 rpm....probably got close to 9,000 rpm for a split second . Doesn't seem to have done any immediate damage.
As a result of the increase in peak power my terminal speed on the front straight and the short straight up to turn 6 has increased by around 20km/hr , but what I really loved was the huge amount of torque now available to real punch me out of all the corners. On average I dropped my PB's by over 1.5 seconds, however there is still a lot more in it as I wasn't entering turn 1 as quick as I was when the car was NA...I need to practice more to see how aggressive I can apply the power when exiting turn 1 and having a higher entry speed...and of course a general tidy up of all my lines and braking markers goes without saying.
Anyhow here's a couple of vids....the first one has me chasing 16bit.....the second one I have an open track. I got some other video snippets I put up later.
Cheers,
Danny
ps. no more bruising of my knees thanks to the MS seat and harness .

I was hoping that after yesterday you would change your mind about the seats .... little beastie looks and sounds much better in real life.
