FWIW, the Vic Club classifies the RT615 as a "street" tyre and the R1R as an "R type" tyre... whether that is accurately reflective of their capabilities is another matter.

Who do they compare with the Nation MX-5 club standard as used at "Natmeet" ?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

BTW how long would RIR last under normal driving circumstance?

Bigdog, I have 205/50/16 Eagle F1 on my car. Honestly there's not much different to the standard OEM tyres, in term of ride comfort. The sidewall height difference between the twos are quite minimal. It could be different story with 15" tyres.

Can you define what you consider normal?

With a tyre wear rating of 140, they'll last 20,000 most likely.

Def. not the way you drive David :)

Geez, 20.000 K...hmmm I think I'll stick with BS R001 again.
BTW I just heard they may be bringing the replacement to BS R01R here.
