Adrenalin shakes?

Postby Copycat » Sat Feb 07, 2009 11:54 am

Hi everyone and thanks for your replies.

I took the car back to Bob Jane and they reset the wheel alignment to the specs that Charlie Brown has listed elsewhere on this site.

I doubted that it would make much difference - I thought the stiffer outer sidewalls of the Adrenalins would still cause the shake but I was wrong.

The changes to the wheel alignment have made it a much nicer car to drive and there's none of the shakes that run through the car. You still feel the bumps (all part of the communication between car and driver) but the suspension must be able to absorb them better. It even works much better on big, sharp bumps which could previously rattle your teeth.

I guess there's a lesson here - don't ignore wheel alignment and make sure it's as close to perfect as you can get it.

Cheers

very true... the first thing any new (or used) car buyer should do is get a wheel alignment done.
