I put mine in yesterday too. It's a bit of a pain in the backside if you've got air con and intercooler pipes to contend with.
Oh, and for the nuffies out there (like me), remember to tighten up the drain plug before pouring expensive Tectalloy coolant in. :oops: :lol:

If nothing else, they look fantastic in the engine bay....

I did the same thing, couldn't work out which was open and closed on the drain plug :lol:
No intercooler for me but AC makes it a bit tight. I almost think the AC condensor could be blocking some airflow to the radiator, mines a bit thrashed looking

I Took my ac out today, runs cooler, less weight.
I had massive insect and rock collection in the AC condensor.
I started to use a higher pressure rad cap, and had small leaks from the top rad hose.
I got T bolt clamps to solve my problems.
Im just using Distilled water no additives.

The AC button is still in the car, Im not sure of its weight.
If I push the AC button on will the AC fan trun?? ie I dont have to wire up parallel fans I just push the AC button instead?

How hard was it to get the AC out? I've been contemplating doing this for a while, can you give a bit of a step by step of whats required?

Yeah I will start another thread with a write up once I have weighed everything. If you can install a rad you can take out the AC tools required and difficulty are about the same.
If you want a head start go to a shop to de gass the AC and buy yourself a belt that turns only the PS.

Helped a friend put one of these in his car. Unlike the PWR in my NA it is a complete bolt in job, very nice.

I did a track day in near 45 degree temps and the water temperature didn't move all day. Although the rest of the car wasn't too happy with the heat, the Cooling pro held up great.

I installed mine on the weekend, went in pretty easily but a really tight fit. I ended up having to loosen the air conditioning condenser to be able to slide it into place. I had to drill new mounting holes on one side at the bottom as they were in the wrong position, and had to do the same as rossint and replace the mounting pins with some longer bolts. Apart from those few things though everything else lined up perfectly. :D

First trackday with the new radiator today at Malalla. Temps peaked at about 46deg on the track in the morning, temp gauge got pretty close to 3/4 but would go down a bit on the straights when the car managed to get a bit of airflow happening. Around lunchtime the wind changed and the temp dropped 10deg in about 10mins, stayed at mid 30's for the rest of the afternoon. At these temps the temp guage dosen't budge from just under 1/2. I'm very happy with the cooling pro.

Will this fit into an NA6, are they all the same alignment?

It's the only one they seem to list.
