Nice turn out 5 cars racing all up, hugely disappointed with a Fuel injector swap that didn’t turn out to plan, leaving me with 3 cylinders and no time left to sort it
That aside the racing was great, with some tough conditions out there (33 deg and high humidity) the cars posted some very good times, and some great dueling between mxjade and mmx005, which had even the commentator saying “that’s what we like to see here at WSID”, must have been an adrenalin rush with only 0.1-0.2 seconds separating them on most runs, and made some top viewing.
Not too packed, so the guys got plenty of runs, and there was a nice turbo NB there running high 13’s with 106mph so certainly capable of very low 13’s with better launches and some cooler weather.
Was expecting some good times from josh’s car and it delivered, with a 15.4, both he and mmx005 where pulling 15’s all night. Worst suffering from the excess heat was Fuzzlet’s turbo SE but he still managed a high 14’s pass on a poor 2.4s 60 footer.
Even mxheven’s car was a nice surprise with a 16.3 from an auto.
I recorded half the nights footage and will upload it somewhere shortly once I sort it all out

Great report Rotary. Sounded like a good nights racing. Sorry to hear about your injectors. Everything sorted now?

engine is basically stock too! i hope to go lower with headlight removal to ram air into the intake, and work on my starts.
it was an incredible night though and i will be going down again with the auto
awsome snaps rotary, that integra was so damn fast! 12.85, the bloke beat his best time, whilst racing me lol.

Hey guys,
We all had a great night, I had a great time any way.
There is a vid clip on you tube of me racing ben that I guy took on his Phone so not best quality, the time for that run was a 15.4 @ 142.??kph
It's a bit long because the sensors on Ben's side were having a fit with the heat or something.
Any ways Next time should be better for us all.

Cheers Josh

Yea the heat was a killer....in 5 runs I used 1/8th of a tank. One testament to the heat. 2nd last run, 2.1sec 60', 15.1" @149kph. Next run (1hr and maybe 10 degrees cooler), 2.6sec 60' (stuffed my launch), with 14.9" @ 152kph.....with a decent launch would of been looking at a mid 14, however on low profile 17s its a bit hard haha. Maybe next time I'll take the headlight out and run with my old semi's...

love to see the timeslip, some very quick honda's, one Civic pulled a 12.2
anyone see what setup he or the integra were running? (N/A )
Here's the links to the runs, also put the original unedited files
on megaupload for anyone who wants to download them
also the youtube vids from these links are in decent resolution with the &fmt=6 extension
watching them through the (More From: mattsmx5) link will show them in crappy res

i did race him, he was my 1st 2 runs!!!! he was definately N/A i think it may have been a genuine jap import integra type R motor.
the civic was totally stripped, and running a k24a (accord euro) motor N/A and micky T drag tires that had very little air in them (based on the almost flat look the wrinkle in the side wall)
BOTH were Frightening!!!!!
