Whoa it is really hot today around 40 deg I think, I was stuck in traffic for about an hour.

I was sweating like a pig, but all I could think about was how my sweat would eventually evaporate and thus remove extra weight from the car as I drove to uni.

Please note sweating like a pig is a saying, often used to describe liquid coming out of your skin. people are the only other mammal known to sweat to release excess body heat. Please note this saying does not refer to any sort of occupation or class of people it should not be confused with how fat and lathargic some people become when performing a civic duty.

Yes, but waht about the sweat that the seat absorbs.

Some of you guys are so soft
Well done Wun, real sports cars don't need aircon.
I am impressed with your dedication to liteness. I hope you had the roof and windows up today to promote the sauna effect that is cooking the moisture out of you. Try wearing waterproof clothes (or a couple of garbage bags) with a tracksuit over the top to increase the amount you sweat, boxers use it to great effect to drop weight before a fight.
The waterproof clothing also catches your sweat so it is not absorbed in to the seat

btw you should be a comedian

Out of curiosity is it a straight fwd removal or do I have to buy extra bits?
When I become anorexic how will I cope when I have to change direction quickly on the track?
I'm very reluctant to put on more mussle mass would rather do palaties than weights...

You need to remove both tie rod ends from the car, drop the rack out, then take it apart and remove the oil seal. Then just fill it with grease and re-assemble. The manual rack would be an additional cost and I don't believe it makes that much more difference. The steering is quite heavy without it though. There's a write-up on flyin miata.

I guess the depowered rack you describe above would feel different to the manual rack, given the difference in the number of turns lock to lock between manual & PS racks?

If you want to try my car without P/S saturday you're welcome. Yours would probebly work out being slightly heavier than mine is.

I didnt think about seats soaked in sweat...
But I have always wanted a seat without padding, or one that has a zip to remove the padding for track days...
