Depends on what time it's on, and also whether or not I'm in Perth for work. I would like to make it though.

Right... What's the latest time you can arrive? I normally don't finish work until 5 at Marrickville, so the earliest I could get out there would be 6. I can always leave early, but it'd be nice to know that I can show up later if need be.

scruteneering finishes at 7.30pm and racing doesn't start till 6pm anyway, if your there around 6pm you should get an extra run or two, but im hoping it won't pack out as it does during winter, so there should be more than enough runs for all.
Good if you can make it, like to know how many of the cars that trek to wakefield would go powerwise dragracing, as its hard to tell at the track, when corner exit speeds make so much diff. but some of them do look pretty quick

I'm now tentatively out. I'm off to Perth on Tuesday for work, and I doubt I'll be back within a week and a day. Bit of a bummer really, but there's always plenty more drag days to hit up.

I wouldn't mind to give the SP a run!
Apart from the helmet, anything else I need to bring like rego papers etc?

Is there a place, like a garage, where you can unpack your car and leave stuff there, in safety?

What time does it start?

Hi Benny,

Racing starts from 6.30pm I think from memory, but try getting there a little early, there is no where as in a garage to leave your gear leave it at home, thats what i'm doing.

You do not need rego papers at all, all you need is long pants, long shirt/jacket and helmet.

all info can be found here

http://www.wsid.com.au

you should come down, would be great to catch up and check out how your car turned out.

Cheers Josh

As Josh said, nowhere to leave stuff there (even if there was, with the 'general' population that attends these meets as opposed to say wakefield, said stuff wouldnt be secure...). I'm planning on leaving my spare at home (especially after finding out an SE rim doesnt fit in the boot)

So i'm still going to this event (weather permitting)

Just trying to see who else is attending?

Also is it worth running a lower tyre pressure on the rear to get more traction on the start?

Will be running my shitty 17" tyres. (I know, not the best option)
