Good car dustcover for NB MX-5?

I know this is not a custom fit dustcover. Repco having massive sale for generic car cover. I picked mine up for $10, down from $89.00.

What material is this "generic" car cover? i've heard that most covers ruin the paint job of the car, apart from Tyvek... i went to repco yesterday... they only have a very small range, mostly for large - XL cars... but it was a small one

i had a cheapy $40 one, never again.

it wasn't water proof, and the inside of the cover was as coarse as the outside, so it scratches the paint job if ur car is dusty.
i can't brain today.. i have the dumb..

Reading from the box, its breathable material, it lets moisture to escape through the cover. I was quite hesitant at first but looking at the material..it looks pretty good.

Here's the photos I took this morning.
Its not Kenco, its Motoguard, cant remember exactly the name, its Grey box and mine is medium size. Fits perfect on MX5. The close up shot is not clear but it looks like some kind of breathable material. The box says it lets water vapor/ moisture to escape but it will protect it from water & UV rays. For $10, I cant complain!

That looks really good! i might consider getting one of those. What year and type is your MX5 ?? One concern i am having is the antenna of the car, i have the 3rd generation MX5 (06) and the antenna looks fragile, and it sticks out, since my car is parked on the street im afraid that it might be damaged if there is strong wind, as i live in Eastern suburbs of Sydney it does get quite windy all the time. On MX5centre.com.au they told me to poke a hole in the cover.... not sure if thats a good idea, but if not there might be alot of movement of the cover, and from what i hear that is how scratches are created...

My car is indoor most of the time, I took it outside since my iPhone takes really crap photos.

Mine is 2001 NB8B, it should fit NC as well, plenty of room.
There's also nylon strap with plastic lock to tie the cover at the bottom of the car...also there a ZIP on the side for easy access to the door.

Seriously, the best thing I bought for $10!!! :)
