Just a few pics of the car on 14's after two polishes today. Not that you can really tell in the photos, but its really rewarding to see a fair amount of depth in the paint. I'm also quite liking the look of the car on 14's. I found that it looks better with the centre caps with the roof off, and better with the caps off with the hardtop on.

Thanks Guys :D Cheyne, I'll give that a go, sounds like a good idea. I figured I had to give it a polish when I saw it parked next to Stu's car on the GOR run. However, its a bit disapointing as you just cant get the same shine out of a white car.

True true, but... you cant get the same shine from a red car that you can from a black one 8)

Had the car fitted with some Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin Re001's today, manufactured on the 47th week of 2008. Nice looking tyres, can't wait to get them properly scrubbed in 8)

Also many thanls to Cent (Daniel) who works at K mart tyre and auto in Rowville for getting me an awesome price on them.

ImageImage

I also had the car aligned by Hughes Supercar Services in braeside as below with me in the drivers seat. The total cost was $70. I knew the specs were off, although I was shocked by how much  I had .26 degrees positive camber at the front right... The specs I went for were somwhat of a compromise as annoyingly I could only get a maximum of a bit under -1 negative camber on the front right bespite being able to around -1.5 deg on the front left.

FRONT
0.9mm total toe
-0.96 degree camber
4.55 degrees caster

REAR
1.7mm total toe
-1.85mm camber

Feels unbelievably better, look forward to the tyres being properly scrubbed in!
