Is anyone using these Cooling Pro Radiators?

I heard the welds don't look the neatest but they do the job

yeah, they're good, i haven't had any overheating problems at all. the needle on my gauge has sat lower then it has ever since the cooling pro has been fitted. sucks a lot of radiator coolant though, i gotta top mine up
i can't brain today.. i have the dumb..

COOLING PRO RADIATOR.... BEST THING I EVER BOUGHT... fits in real easy.. mounting points all line up.. even the fan holes are perfect.
Works a treat too. my original one overheated just a a lil up hills on hot days. this one.. temp sits just under the line.. and has never budged..

Cooling Pro Radiators
I have a cooling pro. Great ......... works a treat. I did have some fitting issues with holes not lining up perfectly but i got around it.

on there site it says 50mm
but they do have 2 on ebay atm
1 for the na
1 for the nb which says 40mm
so it could just be a typing error

i have a 50mm cooling pro, i think mania shipped the wrong one out to me because at $400 you are ment to recieve the 42mm.
works a treat, the welds are fine, not perfect but the thing aint gona burst on you.
highly recomended!

the 52mm is the same price as the 40mm from mania
what sort of effect will happen if i have a 52mm radiator
40mm is already bigger than the one thats in mine atm

I've got one sitting in the back room, my next job is to get it in the car. It's a 40mm from Mania, got it when they were on special around $350 from memory, so $299 is a great price. I've read that if you go bigger than 40mm you have trouble fitting bigger sway bars. 40mm is bigger than the standard one and should be more than big enough.

Yeah I have a 50 mm rad there is about a 5mm gap between the stock saybar and the back of the radiator fan. It takes about 7.5 L of coolant in total including the res.

The cooling pro sounds like a good radiator, although do you actually need one? Unless you track the car a lot the OEM one should be fine as well as (hopefully) cheaper to purchase. However, if you do a bit of track work it could be a good purchase. My original radiator lasted 18 years before I replaced it as it turned brown and developed a minor crack. If you have over heating issues in normal driving I would say the issue is more likely to not be the raditator.

Yes, that can also be an issue Wun. If the core has been designed properly, the number of fins per inch should reduce as the core thickness increases to ensure that the ambient air flow restriction generated by the core doesn't adversely affect it's heat rejection capacity. It is a calculated balance between the sizing of the radiator's cross-sectional area, the tube size, the number of tubes, the number of cooling fins per inch, the core thickness, the ambient air flowrate and of course the water pump flowrate....quite simple really .

For me I got one because the OEM was on its way out and I didn't want to have to go replacing another plastic rad down the line...
I've had one for about a good half year now and it's been fine
The only problem I had with it was abit of fouling between the condenser core and the radiator itself... but that may have just been my car because from all other accounts they drop straight in
They look tops too if you like shiny stuff in ur engine bay...
