polished the camel

Postby nick viner » Mon Nov 24, 2008 10:21 pm

Bought a clay bar kit ( mothers) at the weekend.
What a waste of $45.00.Did nothing as far as removing crud, or I had none.
However the panel beater who repainted my hardtop gave me a bottle of farecla glaze and the loan of a waffle black polishing buff to go on my makita polisher.
My God! I did my wife"s peugeot Which had swirl marks, now all gone and shining like a new car.
The "Rice Rocket" was pretty good to start with but is now super.
Just thought you all needed to know how I spent Sunday!!!!!!

a clay bar is used to remove crap from the paint which won't come off after a wash

then you go and polish the car

then wax it
