sparco sprint - cant get it to fit
I am having a large amount of trouble trying to get my sparco seat to fit. I have managed to get the rails on but they don't line up with the holes in the floor now. any words of wisdom?

I'm assuming it's with the stock rails?

not specifically but I read pretty much all the others I could find and I don't think it will fix the problem of the holes in the floor being wider then the bolted on rails. Is there a proper direct fit after market rail?

Okay, I think I understand what you are trying to say.
There are some rails that will fit, but it depends on the the rails/seats width.
I tried some JDM side mounted rails on the Sparco sprint V and it wouldnt fit, because it was a bit too wide, hitting the circular side mounts which stick out on the seats.
But those same side mounted rails fit the Sparco REV because it's a much slimmer seat.
You could try a bottom mounted rail, Bride or Vision should have something.
OR there is an Aussie seller of some brand of seat rails and quite cheap as well, with bottom and side mounts rails.

have you guys checked the spacing of the mounts on the seat?
There was another person on this forum that found they were not correctly spaced

I'm having the exact same problem; see the thread philz linked to.
Maybe Sparco made a bad batch or something? If I get time I'll compare the rails and seat from another Sparco equipped MX-5 to see what is different.
