Where to buy brake pads from?
I'm trying to have a bit of a hunt around for somewhere to buy some Hawk HP Plus pads, but google doesn't seem to want to be my friend. Mania sell them, so that's a good starting point, but I'd like to see what the prices are everywhere else first before I decide where to buy them from.
I wouldn't mind finding somewhere that sells other pads too, just so I can have a comparison of all different sorts of pads. I'm fairly decided on the HP Plus, but if there are other pads out there that may suit my needs, it'd be nice to know about them and where I can buy them.
Suggestions?

Do they sell Hawk HP Plus and equivalent or higher quality brake pads too? If so, I'll give them a look see.

Mania has hawk/ferodo pads. Competition Friction in QLD can get your pretty much anything. There's a hawk place in Sydney for them and they're main office in Canberra can get you Ferodo's, Pagids etc...

Mine came from here: great pads, quick delivery and a good buy ... at the time (sigh).

What was the shipping cost like from them? Although the dollar has gone down the crapper, if shipping is reasonable, it still might work out to be a tad cheaper than mania.

marcusus did not actually spell out his needs. Req't for a race track pad? The freight cost UPS at close on AUD100 is high.

Not specifically, but the more I know the better:

This is true. At that price, Mania will be equivalently priced. Just a matter of ensuring they have some for me.

I found Mania cheaper than the Hawk agent for HPS and Blue.
You could import them, depending how quickly they are required, but check the exchange rate first.

I got mine Hawk Blues from V-Sport. They were freighted from the Sydney store to the Melbourne one for me so I know that there's a store somewhere in Sydney.

I am looking for pads, too! But due to our low dollar and good pads have to be ordered, its just damn expensive.
The ... Hawks..... are they good?...for occasional track use?
