are we talking about the $40ish ones? I always wondered if it came with the assorted bits your need to fit or if it was just the stick? it doesn't state and seems really cheap

I have an IL short shifter in my SP, and IMHO, it absolutely makes the car.
Everyone that has tried it, has gone out and bought one straight away!
It is a fantastic thing to have and really increases the joy you get out of the car.

get boags to do another group buy......
i had a short shifter before but never got around to installing it. i didn't like the thought of the shift being any more notchier than it already is.

The plastic guide runner wears very quickly under hard use (not the cup, but where the anti rotation pin locates).
Be prepared to throw your money away if you purchase a cheap ebay one.
I'm not sure about the IL Motorsport units, do they use a plastic guide?
