Would anyone have a spare or an old shifter bushing for a 6 speed box? My nylon bushing appears to have disentegrated( I can't find any trace of it) and it makes the shifts extremely vague and difficult. I'll call Mania/Mazda/anyone I can tomorrow but I have races Sat/Sun this weekend and really need one before.... would appreciate even if it's just to borrow it for the weekend while I source another one.
I'm in Wollongong which is a few hours south of Sydney.

Where did it go??

It's not sitting in the bottom of the turret is it?
I have one of the brass ones from the group buy, which I probably won't end up fitting if you want that.

Mania is going to bring a nylon one with them to Wakefield for me.
Thanks Caff if Sliq doesn't have one I might take you up on that...seeing as I apparently disintegrated mine
I found no trace of it at all...I had to get online ot re-assure myself one should've existed in the first place and that nothing else was horribly wrong with the turret.

That's bizarre! The shifting must feel awful!

Yeah it's crazy bad. Imagine being able to move the gearstick over an inch left and right

My old datsun was like that, straight down out of first, straight back up and you'd be in third!
I just can't think where it would have gone. Perhaps it fell off between the gearbox and the floor when you took the stick out?

Well I only took the shifter out because it was drastically worse overnight....and when I cracked it open nothing fell out and I checked around the turret anyway to look for damage. I'd say it's split and is somewhere in the gearbox now

Big thanks to Mania for bringing the bush up with them. I slipped it on, the shifter was hard as buggery until I hammered it with my fist a few times and then everything was well with the world again. The old nylon bush hasn't showed up yet though....the gearbox did survive the race meeting.
