for the nb8b and nb8c owners out there, the lazy cupholder fix has got to be one of the most relieving fixes ever.

Is this for fixing the stupidly loose cupholder top??
If so more info please.


And for another cheap fix what about fixing the droopy eyeball vents.

And to add to the list:

Torn centre console lid - Use bathroom silicone and spread it in the gap where the lid should be attached to the rest. Spread it nicely and allow to dry. This glues it but at the same time allows it to move as silicone is flexible, rather than cracking like other glues. Plus it sticks to plastic really well. This is really good for anyone who has this problem which is quite a few people.

Respray gear knob and heater/cubby hole surrounds - This is good for people who dont want to spend an arm and leg to replace a piece of plastic with brushed alloy or chrome. Using appropriate methods, remove surrounds. Prep with fine sandpaper then spray with grey primer or whatever primer depending on colour. Allow to dry then start spraying the colour you like. I used black which contrasts nicely with the standard interior. Use clear coat for protection and re install after it dries. If you do a good job results are amazing.

Lol i cut black electrical tape in a little square and put it over. Haha nice job ay. I prefer the mazda logo, been looking at the nardi thing for too long, plus it looks silly underneath.

One thing to pick on though... the shape of the old nardi emblem is too obvious... could you perhaps try to blend it in a little more with a whole circle of electrical tape to fit inside the mazda logo?

Is it easily removable?
