Hi guys,
I plan to hold another get together in December for us WA 'forumites'.

As a courtesy to everyone who were unable to attend the November meet up, I would like to start organising the the date and time for the next one now :mrgreen:

What: Malaysian food, "teh tarik" & lots of MX5 gossip :mrgreen:

Where: Makan 2 Cafe 357 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park.
Day/Date/Time:Thursday 18 Dec 7pm

Venue is the same so hope you all like staring at your MX5s while having your "teh tarik" :mrgreen:

haha sounds good. im pretty sure i leave on the 9th so I should make that (ill double check n edit here)

edit: CRUD cant make it. that weekend is packing weekend (parents are moving back to Malaysia, so most of the house needs to be packed up/help the removal ppl pack the right stuff together etc etc)

n i wont be round for the feb cruise since ill be in sydney for TG Live

so march. ill hav joined the club by then

Hope we can do something on a regular basis, Les. Can't attend the club's events as I'm usually not free on Sundays. And besides there's only so many places you can go on a drive in Perth

How's the teh tarik at this place?

Yep that is the plan.

It is pretty good for Perth :mrgreen:

When it is not busy, they actually 'tarik' the 'teh' at the front counter.
Pretty much like they would in Malaysia/S'pore :mrgreen:

Monday's a guaranteed out for me. The Thursday and Saturday may be goers, but I won't know until about week or so beforehand.

If nothing else, I learned what teh tarik is (yes, there is a Wikipedia article). Thurday would be a better day for me.

Unfortunately can't commit to dates due to the work I do, however I will try to make it if I'm around. At the minute both the Thursday and the Saturday are fine for me and hopefully that shouldn't change that close to Chrissie.

Hopefully see you all there...
