yakob wrote:Yeah but if i told you in person that i had no insurance, you would not dare to insult me. Especially if i was calm about it. You would only do it if you were provoked and i have not provoked anyone by saying insurance is not important, or that im better than anyone else, or that i would never have another accident. So you my friend are gutless.

If you told me in person you had no insurance I would still call you an idiot no matter how calm you where. You wouldn't be the first, you wont be the last.
However I highly doubt you would call me gutless to my face.
You are quite the little keyboard warrior.

This is hilarious.

Yakob, before you say yet another contradictory statement, I think YOU should re-read from post 1.

Unless you were struck by lightening and that caused you to crash, then it wasn't an accident and nothing is to blame but you.

I'll echo others: PULL YOUR HEAD IN.

I thought about it, but the last time I compiled a proof post with lil_mike I lost an afternoon's worth of exam prep time for... was either crim or torts... Can't be bothered this time as I have crim and pathology to study for, plus I don't think there is any need for it

don't worry about torts adam, its easy peasy. i'd be more worried about crim.

yakob, i know its probably disheartening for you, but i think its time to grow some manhood. then you might survive and stick around.

OR you can always make a new mx5cartalk account.

oh man! How the flower did I miss this thread!!!

1. Yakob - I have a set of 4 14" mx5 wheels and tyres that you can use. Dunno if they will fit your car but its all I have to give out.
I have momo 17's too but you ain't touching those!!! (I need them to hold the car up from all the grass growing underneath it....)

2. Ben's (meanmx) car. Have you seen it in the flesh to assess the number plate? Ben is an awesome source of modification information and a long
time autosalon competitor/enthusiast.

3. As for Jake (blue94t). He WILL say what he thinks to anyones face. Please don't think for a second that he won't. sh*t, he cannot even spell the word tact.

If you want to borrow the wheels send me a PM. Like I said, I dunno if they will fit...

Also, come along to a Thursday night meet. Get to meet some of us in person as most of us are good blokes (Ben, Rodders, Wun, Cheyne etc etc) or cute (me, and (possibly) littik but she drives a red MX which is a negative).
There are some bad seeds (Stu) but we deal with them.....
It is here that we organise dodgy days etc that we don't post up here.

Have a think about coming Thursday night....

Ah, looks like I'll have to scrub up for the next meet. Now, where's my brush?

still going ?

yakob, i only called you a nasty name AFTER you had started hurling the personal insults towards other forumites. if you learn to bite your tongue, stick around and you will learn something here. there is plenty of helpful people here.

unfortunately, i have trouble biting my tongue sometimes as well. this gets me into trouble so i don't post much anymore (apart from yesterday where i felt duty bound to get on the forum and express my tremendous gratitude to my new forumite freinds in QLD... and then ended up in this thread as a result  ) .

so , quit the trolling, do your research, think about things a bit before you post.... and become a useful member of the community rather than another wanker clogging the board up. we have too many of them here already.

anyway i just wanted to explain the motivation behind my words yesterday. hopefully you can understand where i'm coming from, but yeah listen to these other guys, they are only trying to point you in the right direction and help you out. you may not like what they are saying, but listen , learn, and be respectful.

anyway i'm scurrying back into the shadows now..... adios.

yakob wrote:Fair enough, i have no more defense. I almost feel as stupid as half as you appear because i have actually retaliated.

Thankyou to the people who have made my stay here enjoyable, otherwise you know i wouldnt have been on every day, 150 posts in 7 days. But ofcourse everything ive said has been poorly researched. Including this bold statement i made "yeah but i was gonna sit it upright.. meanmx has the same thing."

To think i actually started to enjoy this place.

How rude of me. Goodluck to everyone, i wont be around here anymore.

Man you are just taking everything said as a personal attack!!!!! There is no need to be so defensive particularly as my posted wasn't meant to offend. When you wrote "yeah but i was gonna sit it upright.. meanmx has the same thing." and then plonked that under a pic of another car then I took that to mean I had the same as the car in the pic. Maybe you should have written "yeah but I was going to sit it upright like what Meanmx has done", and then there would be no confusion. The internet has a bad habit of misinterpretation. I misinterpreted what you said and you clearly misinterpreted what I said as an insult. See how that works?

Life is full of people ready to tell you that you have flowered it up, but it is your job not to get angry and defensive but to read the advise underneath it. I still have people telling me I flowered up and that is fair enough. Sometimes I listen and sometimes I don't. Take my advise, relax a bit, unwind and then get to know a few of these people. All will be forgotten soon
