i think it's fairly self explanatory which set of undies will result in faster lap times... all that extra cotton in the first pic would seriously compromise your power to weight ratio imho.

That's if he wears any underwear at all    . Something for you to think about next time you are at the track with Wun

blahaha...don't take this too seriously wun. All in good fun =]. BTW i'm thinking of getting some new rims. Going down to 15' for me to save some unsprung weight in the wheel and tyres. Also, it means cheaper tyres too! bonus.

Wun, I'll see you there...... I am heading up with an Evade to do some testing......
Seriously, as some of the guys have said...... most of the time advantages come from experience. Only when you are getting the most from your car as a driver, can you start seeing many advantages from weight loss. (And I say that from the point of a relative newbie, I can still see that I can lose at least 5 seconds around Winton in driving experience alone!)

That being said.... the Evade is 900kg and 325kw at the wheels....... with around 1200nM of torque..... this WILL be fun!
Cheers

Wun's going to become a bald toothless Jewish Eunuch?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I think you need to add more weight.

Spend more time with someone in the passenger seat giving you advice.

It's what I do and i'm slowly getting better.

Wun,
Looks like you still have your watch on in that photo, that has to be worth 1 second around Winton.

The MX5 Club is planning a Winton round, there will be plenty of guys up there that can give you some advice. Would help if you had a passenger seat on the day.
