I have had enough of you adam, im sick of you thinking you are better than everyone else and everyone else is on your level.
Dont use quotes to try and point out my contradictions, because incase you are blind that was a hint of sarcasm, a joke, but just like youve said before "I'm sure it would seem funnier if I had a lobotomy".
Get a grip, i have had it with you since the time i asked for advice, and you decided to tell me that all it needed was putty, sand, respray etc "its not rocket science". Well hey, not everyone is familiar with any type of panel beating so maybe to some it IS rocket science.
Why are there so many people on here who would rather insult than advise?

Yikes, its not a full moon is it?
I think what people are saying is that there is the potential that you could have some overheating issues with the plate in the intake. On the hotter days just keep an eye on the temperatures. If you ever go on the track just take it off. Perhaps a slimline plate could reduce the risk of overheating while also producing a more visually appealing solution.
All sound advice IMO, mostly intended to help you.

Oh i totally agree, with anything that blokes and intended passage for air its a concern. But in the case its not enough of a possibility to worry about it, however i will be keeping an eye on things. I know its intended to help, however most of it is ITI or ITPIBTY.
intended to insult or intented to prove that i am better than you

What are you smoking?
You asked how to mount the plate in the mouth. I showed you. I also advised you to make sure you've cleaned out your radiator before you do it, just to be sure.
You wanted to know how to do a side mount. I showed you, though I think I put that up before you asked.
You wanted to know how to fill the holes. I told you. I also advised you against doing the touch-up method on you car since its a dark colour and would stand a good chance of looking really bad. Feel free to do it, but if the badge mounts on the panel between the lights like on a NA it would cost sfa to get painted properly, and you've shown with your plate mount that you can work with your hands, so the prep work should be easy.
I still fail to see how Tony Miata could possibly be interpreted as funny though, just as I still think you already have the pick of all stock MX5 wheels

Its got nothing to do with it being funny or not, just dont insult me, and dont be a smartass. Simple, you wanna give advice, go about it nicely.

I didn't insult you, I said that the only way I could see myself finding it funny was if I had a lobotomy. I didnt say that you must be a bit dim because you liked it.

im refering to the other things you have said, that was merely an example.

Sheesh... talk about flame war.
Personally, I haven't interpreted any comments by anyone (thus far) as snide/undercutting/rude/insubordinate or anything else you can think of.
Yakob, perhaps you just read a post the wrong way? Perhaps re-read what you thought was the offending post with a cool head and see whether it's still insulting to you. I'm reading the tony miata thread as well and haven't seen anything that resembles an attack on anyone here on the forums.

My god this has escalated, and i am being insulted on three different threads. This has got nothing to do with that thread, i just used something he said to point out that he has trouble finding the humour in things.

Remember that this is the internet. Sarcasm is the most common thing lost on here, so keep it in mind when you're making posts. Not everyone thinks along the same lines as everyone else, so a lot of things get lost in the buffer zone.

I have seen sticker as a number plate less weight. Not sure if you will get a fine or a yello sticker for having one tho???
OEM pate holds my grill in place to remove grill + plate when I get to the track takes too long.
Anyone make them out of CF, with quick release for easy removal?
