Who's got what on what sort of turbo and where from?

Currently I run a 2.5" on a GT30/71R and have found that I've reached the limit of the exhaust. Looking for options

3" always seems to be the standard on more powerful turbo setups.

How much power are you making with your 2.5" exhaust?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

"Obviously" you havent looked in the Garage Okibi hahaha :D
Lets just say, not enough
The cast AVO dump that I have is very restrictive too. Does anyone have a 3" dump coming off an internally gated turbo on an AVO cast manifold? I've had a bit of a look and there doesnt seem much room between the firewall to fit a 3".

Cheers

I have the HKS GT2535 on the 1.6 with a 2.5 in exhaust running 8psi (boo, I'll get that EBC working this weekend).

As for the T3 is it the 5 bolt flange on the rear?
If so I have one of these that is being matted to a GT2554 on a bottom mount manifold (jeez I'm lazy though, I've only tacked together the outside primaries on the mani.

That will flow on to a 3 inch exhaust. Possibly tapering down to 2.5.
Huh?

Nice bit of kit Blackster. 8)
Looks like your turbo takes pride and place in the top of the engine bay. There is no way that that would fit and AVO setup.
If you were really chasing everything you'd be looking at a 4" with a screamer pipe, but unless the turbo is huge, it's overkill.

I like the v band adaptor idea ampz, although it takes up space that could be used for the bend. It does make fitting a heck of a lot easier though :D

cheers

I would love to say that its my exhaust, but its not. Its off a yankee MSM, work was done by Tim shore. If I was chasing big power, keeping it street legal and price was not a factor, then thats I would be looking to get.

Screamer pipe, decat and 4". I can imagine the fun you will have, when it comes to emissions testing.

Emissions testing? ..... whats that?

Have you ever tried to get a standalone certified? Avoiding detection and saving it for the track is the key 8)

Good numbers Novice, is that an AVO manifold?

Ampz, are you going to run the extra bank of injectors? is that what you ment by tacking on the primaries?

AVO stage 2 manifold, 550cc injectors, plus a few other goodies.

Single injectors at the moment. 370cc on 6psi atm (the electronic boost control died)

I'm making a bottom mount manifold using the flange off the original extractors (1.6).
I've put about 2 hours into it now (started 2 months ago)
I've tack welded in spots the primary bends off the manifold heading down to the collector. That's it!

When it's finished (hopefully before the car is extinct)
I'm hoping for it to look like this
Huh?
