I think I remember reading something about the MX5 Rides section being shut down??

Hi Les, I'll check with Bob (Administrator) to see what the go is. I'm not sure what the benefit would be by removing this section as it is great for documenting vehicle builds.

I think the garage section is meant to have a build "blog" but its not working last time i checked.

I've already moved mine across to the garage so it won't affect me much if at all.
One of the mods could always move this thread into a different section to save it from going with the My Rides section. Right?

I PM'd Bob today about his plans for the My Rides section...his response is as follows.....hope you don't mind me posting this Bob

Another step in the right direction was made today with the tailshaft modifications being completed. I don't think I'm going to have a strength/whirling issue with this one :lol:

Hi there MAZ-5, thanks for the support!

The carbon fibre drive shaft from the manual RX-8 is far too long (NC has a somewhat shorter wheelbase than the RX-8) and there was no way that I was going to cut up a perfectly good CF tailshaft at that!! :shock:

.....and I don't know of anyone that could bond the severed end correctly.

I installed the tailshaft up today....the best part was that it actually fitted! :mrgreen:

The roll cage is now on top of the job list.

I wish it was that close Chris

. Still a lot of work has to be done after the roll cage...mainly in the area of wiring...chassis loom & ECU. My work schedule from now until Xmas isn't particularly Renesis NC friendly

, however I'll do my best to create opportunities to work on it whenever I can.

Long awaited bits have finally arrived!!!!

Rear section of exhaust....

Mazdaspeed Front Bar....will be refinished to Winning Blue....

Blitz supercharger kit.... :twisted:

This turned up with my bits....so I claimed it...will ditch the stickers ASAP....it will definitely give the NC the racer look...

I'm storing all these bits in my office to constantly remind me that I need to make time to work on the car.

Hopefully I will get a chance to do a couple of things in the next week or so.

Yup jealous here too. It looks like the air passage really gets squished after passing the throttle body, is there space for improvement ?

The improvement will come in the form of the Eaton M90 and intercooling. This is just to whet my FI appetite. :twisted:

ps. Okibi & mx52nv, I'm doing a job for WATM in Bayswater late next month and will be there for at least a week (probably 2 weeks)...any chance I might catch-up with you guys?
