Tom,
I have a replacement section of clear vinyl for a soft top. I had the rear window replaced in my car a few years back, but the rest of the top kind of disintegrated around it over the following years.
It's not brand new, but it is clear. It was the good stuff - what the trimmer I went to would normally use in Euro softtop replacements and marine applications. I can send it to you in a postpak roll for the cost of postage and you may be able to use it.

Thanks for all of the replies.
I phoned O'Brien Glass and they even recommended I get a new plastic window or new NB top with glass.
I got a couple of quotes for a new plastic window and after reading your replies my wife has decided to get an NB top soon.
Uncle Arthue, thanks for the offer. I appreciate it but in the long run a rear glass window seems like the best option.
Thanks again,
Tom

After being quoted $560 + GST for a new plastic window from one large trimming place we decided to look at getting a new top with a glass window.
Then we were recommended Cardiff Motor Trimming who do a lot of work for the Hunter Area Health Service and is highly recommended. He quoted us $220 supplied & fitted, a big difference from the other mob!
Needless to say we had the job done and we are very happy. It was done with Marine PVC Roll Clear and looks better than new! The stitching is perfect and with all this rain we have had, it does not leak! And the window is now clear and scratch free!

Tom that bears out what you can do with a little bit of research- replacing the windows was standard practice with the old Brits. Saved yourself some money - well done.

Tom, was that a drive-in drive out deal ?( i.e fully fitted) ? Seems very reasonable.

The product used for rear windows is called viscreen, and comes in a few different qualitys, I'm in the marine industry and have access to trimmers e.t.c. the rear window in my soft top has been replaced with a laminated viscreen i.e 2 layers . any scratches can be buffed out and is fully treated to combat the ultra violet rays e.t.c. I have discussed the problem with the trimmer and he's quite happy to be of assistance to anyone in Brisbane that needs their window replaced. he only does quality work and is quite partial to the cashy system. just PM me and I will put you on to him . For example he has just recovered a Triumph motorcycle seat in black leather ,pleated e.t.c for a mate of mine and only charged $120, a perfect job

Yes, we dropped the car off at 8:00am and picked it up at 3:00pm.
I think $220 is very good considering the labour in having to take the whole top off to do the work.
They were also doing leather work on an early model Mustang which looked really well cared for.
I couldn't fault his workmanship!
