bought a pair of bosch aerotwin today..... the NB was not listed in the catalogue..... but I remember reading abt the size of wipers somewhere in this forum (thanks guys!).... so bought the BBA450 (450mm/18\")...... went home n changed it straight away..... fits perfect.... works perfect..... now, waiting for the trial on a rainy day.... n see how it goes....

ive had these for a couple of years now, and they are awesome,
work and look a lot better than any other wipers..

bosch are good, even their regular wipers are better than most ive used.

easy.... 5 mins job.... just a few clicks to remove n replace the new wipers.... even quicker than changing blades on the wiper....

Windscreen & Wipers - NA & NB

I bought a set of the Bosch Aero Twin blades today from Super Cheap ($22.99 each). According to their catalog these don't fit the MX-5. However like others have found they fit perfectly to my NA. The only trick was to remove the metal plate on the drivers side wipe arm that stops the wiper blade from lifting at speed, fit the new blade and then re-fit the metal plate.

Bosch part number BBA450.

Now I just need to wait for some rain to try them out.

Yes I can definitely confirm that this is for keeping the wipers from lifting

Maybe...I'll never know because cats are unable to get into my locked garage.

However, the point of lifting was unfortunately proven late one night several years ago after the new turbo/tune and over 200 rwkw.....

I wonder if with the lower profile of the beam blades the aero aid is still needed.
