Damn it I just saw the updated price. I will have to do some scratching around and see if I can drum up the cash before the weekend. is this price only till the weekend or will they be available another time too?

Ok, the tyre shop rang up to get the 5 sets in from the supplier and apparently "I've got plenty" means, "oh, bugger, did you say 205/50, I thought you said 55..."

They have one set of 205/50R15 (which are going on my car :mrgreen:

) and one set of 195/55R15 (which are going on Gerard's car) but there aren't any more from that supplier. He has another supplier and hasn't been able to contact them yet today, so I'll let you know if they will be available for this weekend or not.

If not, shouldn't be any change in price, but it'll be a bit later down the line.

Ok, no stock left. They must have got that lot in when the AU$ was strong, he said the new lot coming in are subject to a price rise; no idea what that'll be yet.

He only has the two sets at that price so I'm sorry for getting your hopes up.

I've let him know to contact me when more come in so I can update you all.

Well, Boags and I got our 888's at a great price in October. We got them from Tyrepower at Albion, so you could give them a call and see what they're selling them for these days...

No one was following it up any further as far as I was aware.
