You ought to try those spikes two up in a lowered NC. I try and park across the road in the railway carpark but it was full Wednesday night.
There have been a few changes to the committee.
I step up from Social Sec to El Presedentee.
Sean (Gramps) comes in as President of Vice
Gary & Annette Moss take on the Social Secretary role.
Events Calendar (not a committee position) is to be done by Mrs El Presedentee.
Staying on are:
Kim & Pete (Hurricane) remain as Captain(s) .
Phil Roberts is Secretary (took over in July).
Kevin Tuckerman is Treasurer.
Mike is still Competition Secretary and CAMS rep.
Ray & Pam retain Regalia but drop the events calendar.
Stephen (Kuntry Kussin) maintains Membership database .
Ken has Membership snail mail (that’s his NB8B in Top Gear mag.)
Sandra & Paul are doing Publications.
Bob (Bobg) resigned as Secretary but is still doing the Club web site (though this isn’t a committee position)
In the Chapters Pat (Turbo Girl) takes over from Paul in Canberra and Tom stays on in Hunter.
Next year there will be atleast three positions becoming vacant, so for those wanting to put something back into the Club, come and have a chat with me and I’ll let you know what’s available and I can help in smooth transition

Well I was waiting for one, but alas I had to settle for a black haired one!

Indeed...and as you can see you can indeed fit 1 person in an MX5 boot!

When I last did it, it was two people, but in a regular height NB8A. I'd hate to think what it'd be like now since I put both the brace and coilovers on...

I don't read the Events section very often, as I'm usually too busy to go to many events these days, but this will change next year.
I was trying to get you, Charlie Brown, to take over from me when I was president, but I guess my persuasive ways take a while to sink in!
Congratualtions Phil!
Oh, and congratulations to all the other new committee members and helpers too.
I have to agree with CB's comments on joining the committee.
While there is work to be done, it is great fun, and being able to direct the course of the club, and see members enjoying the fruits of your labour are very gratifying too.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 years on the committee, and when my workload diminishes somewhat, I would like to re-join the committee at some stage.
