Rebuilding NB8B+ Sport brakes?
Anyone rebuilt the calipers on the newer sport brakes? I've been over the net and I can find a lot of instances of people rebuilding the earlier calipers but none of the later.... Curious if there are any kits available Mazda or other.

They are simple and pretty much identical to the earlier ones. Either go to mazda or repco and get a rebuild kit. Also get some high temp lube for the sliders.

I'll give Mazda a call tomorrow at work. So it's just the same kit as the NB8A's etc? I've already got the brake high temp grease. Already checked my sliders as a possibility for the overheating and re-greased them.

Mazda wants $275.... Brakesmart and Wollongong auto supplies can't get them for NB's. They only had NA's listed and said go genuine.
Mx5parts.co.uk seem to have the NB kits though for much cheaper. Including buying slide pins and the pistons there for under about 40 pounds. The mazda dealer only had 2 sets listed too. NB and NA so sounds like they're the same....

Something sounds wrong - I only remember paying about $50 per side. most odd. Have you tried corksport or moss motors in the USA?

Not yet, so far I've just called the locals. I think the mazda guy just got confused because I'd expect the Caliper itself to be that much but he did say that was for the front axle caliper seals and slide pins.
I'll send some emails out tonight, maybe register on the miata.net forums and try there. Every mention of rebuilding I can find is for the NA8 and NB8 standard brakes for Spec miata. I can't find a definitive answer whether there's a separate kit or not for the sport brakes.
