Fingers crossed. This will be worth it just to see a parade of MX5's coming down Jenolan Caves Rd and through the arch.

Macca's is after the turn off to Eastern Creek heading west on the freeway and is grouped with the Caltex service station.

Can't make this one even if it is in my own backyard! Have fun without me, and be careful on the caves access road - the buses are lethal on some of those corners...

Well all the people that went on to Bathurst made it safely. One guy was very lucky not to have to chat to our friends in blue during an enthusiastic lap around Mt Panorama though. Last time I went on the road from Jenolan Caves to Oberon it was dirt and quite rough. It's been sealed now with a few nice curves along the way, though the road surface was still quite dusty, probably from the logging trucks. The guy that did my wheel alignment last week decided to pump my tyres up to 39PSI which cost me a bit of grip and made everything very jittery for the rest of the trip. But apart from bouncing from bump to bump, a minor brake problem for me at the start and a muppet in a Bora that seemed to think he belonged in my lane on the way down the mountain it was a great day. Once again the weather Gods smiled on us as well.
Thanks to Michael for organising everything.
