sp23 wheels on mx-5

looking at getting some sp23 wheels for the five as track wheels has any one done this and how well do they fit

yours is an nc? i know they won't fit the na or nb, not sure about the nc. i've never seen it done, altho i have seen rx8 wheels on an nc.

the only info i found was for the "snowflake" ones..
17x6.5 , 5x114.3 +52.5mm offset.

i think the stud pattern is correct, AJ ? how about the offset?

standard nc offset is 55??

should be close enough. the sp23 wheels are narrower tho ...

i'd compare them side by side to make sure they are pretty close to the nc rims as there might be different variations of wheels in the sp23 range.

yep, the stud pattern, rim size & rim width are exactly the same fatty, I'm just not sure about the offset seeing as the 3 is a front wheeler, I'm going to ask the question when we get the 5 serviced on Saturday :mrgreen:

sorry, correction, the rim width on the MPS3 is the same as the 5 :D

well my quick googling suggests the offsets are pretty damn close. definately worth confirming with mazda tho, yep.

yeah, you could still run a 205 width tyre on a 6.5" rimm too, not really a big deal
