Na 6 or Na 8 diff? These are different and need different tailshafts & drivesafts, & the internals are not interchangeable.

nope, it won't. although you'd think that Mazda would save themselves some production costs by just using the same rear diff as the MX-5 or RX-7 but they didn't.

Whilst the question is out there, what model RX7 diffs fit in the MX5. whole assembelies or just the guts?
If it aint on the rev limiter then you shouldn't be behind the wheel!

there is a guy in melbourne that does rx7 diff conversions, he posted info on the forum some months ago. maybe try a search. i know one of the vic motorsport guys has one of these conversions in his car and is very happy with it. i think centreline suspension in thomastown have done a few of these conversions and could put you in touch with the guy , or organise the whole thing for you.

Ive seen a link somewhere with a better explanation, but M.net mentions that the clutch type diff from a 84-88 non turbo RX7 will fit

try selling it on fordlaser.com, someone with a Familia or TX3 4WD might want it.
