Reprogramming Alarm Remote - Non MX-5

Postby Okibi » Fri Sep 05, 2008 1:57 am

Anyone know how I program these? My other car hasn't had a battery for ages and now the remotes down work, I have to use the key on/off combinations to start the car

I think it's a "laserline" alarm.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

What a coincidence! I recently lost one of MX52NV's keys, the remote and the silver MX5 Club key chain (you know the big oval one). Anyway, I'm heading down to get a new remote and will get that programmed for the car. Will let you know how I go.

P.S. So I'll be at Wanneroo Raceway for Targawest from 9am tomorrow 8)

I suggest opening it up and seeing what's written on the circuit board, then Google whatever code you find. The Dynamco website has codes like "R11-HCS". Then you'll (hopefully) know the brand, then you can find the reprogramming procedure :)

Cyclops stock Dynamco (or is it the other way around). The Dyanmco website refuses to provide access to manuals - by the cyclops one does!

Try the links here: http://www.mycyclops.com.au/support_remote.html and the PDF link.
