Sundy 14th September - BOYRCR visits

Well took a drive out there to VH today. Yay, I now know how to get there takes a while but is a reasonably relaxing drive with some nice scenery. Some rather rainy weather so I havn't factored in any hills cruising for the return trip, but if it turns out on the day that the weather is fine & you all want to go through hills on the way back then that'd be ok too.

Booking for lunch has been made at the Ocean Grill (restaurant of Anchorage Hotel, menu is here http://www.anchorageseafronthotel.com/images/menu_may07.pdf) at 12:30pm. So meetup will be at 10:50 Glenelg Caravan Park's car park leaving at 11:15 There will be some MX-5 related prizes to be given out throughout the day

I would advise a reasonably full tank of petrol unless the weight is too much, then half should do if your going to refill down there on the return.

Cheers Vu....... So......... you saw me . I have to go back to the red hardtop man, not convinced the colour code is the same , either that or the paint is in really bad nick. I will take some cutting polish withme and try it on. Should be able to go to VH . I have eaten at the Anchorage . Not too bad . Be in touch

I havn't eaten anywhere at VH haha. Don't need to force yourself to go if you goto VH regularly but would always be welcome of course

I hope there'll be enough parking along Flinders st on the day.... Otherwise we might have to pay $2 to use the carpark next to the info centre

definetly looking forward to this cruise!! I will have to give my car a good wash as it looks like it should be brown or maybe leave it and just wash the windows for a laugh. I think I would be to embarressed to let a fellow mx5er see it in the condition it is.

She's got her own interstate visitors visiting.. They're welcome to come along I said but seems they aren't the type that'd want to go..

Meet-up location is the Adelaide Shores caravan park along Military Rd. It's actually closer to West Beach.

From Anzac Hwy go onto Adelphi Tce, King St bridge over boat harbour, Patawalonga Frontage, Military rd

or just go off from Tapleys Hill rd, Africane Rd then Military Rd.

They're great people but there are others involved with the visit, a group of us so I really can't come and/or bring them with me. My stupid fault for not realising the date. But if I can possibly make it I'll come to the start point to say hi to you all.

Yeah I have mate that will be in my car and I think my parents said they may try and tag along in there diesel ford ranger ute but it is a turbo...... I will have to see if they re-think a little closer to the day. So they are not fully confirmed.

I think it may be the right one. We havn't booked into one yet. Is it the one that is at the south side of Glenelg? I think it might even be called Brighton. That is the one we are hopeing to get into because I have stayed there before and it is a good park.
