i think the fact that we're questioning whether to go or not, has already answered our question..

guys, i'm going to have to pull out of this run.. sorry!

the weather is a bit unpredictable, it might rain, it might not..

for those who are still keen, you have my blessing to do the run without me..

good luck, and drive safely.

may the force be with you!

Damn, noone sent me a PM :(
yea well, I'm not sure what I'll end up doing but either way I'll need to find something to do tomorrow morning because I've already got leave so I can't stay at work after 4am.
Just put the hardtop on so depending on what happens I might end up going still, I'll talk to -alex about it and see what's happening

So for the record is anyone still going? (if some people are still interested then I think we should do a slow exploration drive so we don't get lost on the 14th)

Either way I'm putting it on my calender for the 14th :D

I just cant understand women. I mentioned to the missus this morning that I would be doing the Putty Rd run tomorrow morning at 6.00am and she just said coldly " I do hope you enjoy youself". All day she's been less communicative than usual, pointedly reminding me to enjoy the run, to make sure I have a good time etc , she might be doing something else, etc.

Naturally, I put it out of my mind & spent the day mucking around with the car, the bike, the boat, a bottle of jim beam etc etc as you do on Saturdays. About 2 minutes ago I noticed the date: tomorrows our 31st wedding anniversary! Sh##t. Forgot ( again). No present - unless I can give her that set of Azeni 615's I got this morning...will she fall for it? Nope, shes got a Nissan Patrol- no-ones that stupid- she got new tyres for her birthday!!!).

So this is the issue: should I go on the run and (a) pick her up a present on the run, or (B) not let on that I remembered?

I was going to PM you Alex, but I thought you'd be in Newport... A slow drive down putty sounds like a good idea, but It depends how much it rains..

Is anyone else keen on doing that?
