i cant figure out a name for it, i have broken the plastic piece that connects the hose onto it while i was trying to change the hoses sometime ago, i did a quick fix with it but now its stuffed and need a new one. it is located at the back of the inlet manifold being the closest to it. if you look at whilst your standing behind the drivers side guard, you will notice it has a mitsubishi logo

the hose leads to a gold ringed black dome looking thing near the throttle body, the more throttle applied, the more this part sucks in air.
just curious on a few things, since i have noticed this hose off hevn has alot of carbon buildup on the bumper, could this be the ecu making the engine run really rich because of a vaccum leak, or is it because of the vaccum leak itself?
