Hey All,
About 2 drag race meetings ago I removed the rear sway bar from the mx5 because people were telling me that they were only helpful for cornering. Who needs cornering for a drag car....
Anyway it has just occurred to me that the car has not really run straight since and has been a bit skatey down the track and perhaps it might have to do with the sway bar (It could also be that I am pushing the car even harder)
I am racing in QLD in 2 weeks at the Jamboree event and then the car is getting tubbed, ladderbar'd and 9inch diffed.
Does anyone in Sydney have a complete heavy duty rear swaybar that I could borrow until the 27th August (no point me buying one since I am changing the rear end) That way if it does help I can push the car a lot harder and maybe even go for a low 9 with the irs rear end.
Thanks
Lee

If you haven't done so, have you considered changing the control-arm bushes to polyurethane?
By the way, I'd like to catch up with you at the Jamboree

I've got a spare NB8B 12mm Stocker plus the rubber D bushes. I broke the standard endlinks though with a 16mm bar
