May 2005:
I had a european car which was spending more time off the road than on it. Eventually my mechanic feeling sorry for me told me to get rid of it. Searching Carpoint on a Friday night I came across a second hand Mx-5 in a dealership just outside Melbournes CBD, that I knew I had to check out. The price seemed right for the mileage and age, and it looked Ferrariesque with a Red Duco & Tan Leather combination. 24 hours later I was driving her down to Lorne.

September 2006:
I was getting bored with the standard Mx-5 and wanted some mods that would make the car more fun than it already was. Being a fan of discreet modifications I took my time deciding what the next step was going to be.
My first mod
I went down to the Mx5 Factory and took a look at their Cold Air Intake system. One week later Dick borrowed the car for a couple of hours and installed it for me. That first mod freshened up the driving experience, and no one knew that any work had been performed on the car.
November 2006:
I had my first "at fault" accident in 10 years when a roo bounced out in front of the car north of Albury. Luckilly the damage was only cosmetic, and using gaffa tape to stop the inner guard falling on the front right wheel I drove home to Melbourne.

I told you the car would look great with black stripes
You do have a great looking car with some very tasteful and subtle mods done.
All you need now is slightly lower suspension....

August 2007:
FastFredyGassit and MeanMx convinced me to buy AB7's N*Power Exhaust. I convinced them to install it for me.
November 2007:
Incognito convinces me to follow in his footsteps and replace the stock stereo with a Clarion unit that has better iPod functionality.
December 2007:
I finally get my hands dirty and install a polished magnum voodoo gearknob

Thanks Sliq, I'll try and arrange a decent recording of the exhaust.

All the old school volvo drivers had migrated to Camry's by then. I even had the bloody volvo driver sticker on the rear window.

Hope you waxed that muffler before you installed it so the road grime will just slide off it.
Seems a shame to put somthing that beautiful on the road!
