Sundy 14th September - BOYRCR visits
edit:
Trip will be to Victor Harbor township. Takes a while but is a reasonably relaxing straightforward drive (should give ya a bit more time to get over the hangover Brett!) with some nice scenery. Some rather rainy weather lately so I havn't factored in any hills cruising for the return trip, but if it turns out on the day that the weather is fine & you all want to go through hills on the way back then that'd be ok too.
Booking for lunch has been made at the Ocean Grill (restaurant of Anchorage Hotel, menu is here http://www.anchorageseafronthotel.com/images/menu_may07.pdf) at 12:30pm. So meetup will be at 10:50 Adelaide Shores caravan park's car park (West Beach) leaving at 11:15
There will be some MX-5 related prizes to be given out throughout the day
For the trip I would advise a reasonably full tank of petrol unless the power to weight ratio is too bad for you, then half tank should do if your going to refill down there on the return. For the turbo cars, I would still suggest a full tank, which is ok because we got the power to lug all that weight there Distance there is 82kms with speed zones varying from 60, 80 & 100 KMH.

This sounds great. I have been to Adelaide before and have read about some cruises in magazines. It looks like you guys have a lot of great twisty roads.
I have a mate that is taking me out Saturday night in town so I hope you dont like to meet to early. But regardless of how I feel I definetly make it.

If it aint on the rev limiter then you shouldn't be behind the wheel!

I may have missed you already telling us this but are you going to have your car here? I don't know what thoughts Vu has on a run, lots of great drives through the hills. We could even follow one of the Classic Adelaide routes (I have the website bookmarked with all the maps). Maybe we could do a late morning drive and then lunch up in the hills somewhere perhaps? I'm happy to help Vu plan a run if he wants or else I'm also happy to shut up and let you plan it, Vu!!

Hopefully we are staying the caravan park just south of Glenelg.
I definetly will have my car with me. There is no way I would leave it with a transport company.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

oh geez, i didn't even go or even organise anything for it.
boyrcr doesn't seem to be answering any of my messages...
currently planning a cruise to Victor Harbor township, quick sight seeing around the place & then beachside lunch at OceanGrill, maybe horse drawn tram tour to Granite Island & back?? will do a drive out there this weekend & see how it all pans out, should hopefully be good. if anyone want to tag along, feel welcome to.

Ah thought you'd be over there by now, didn't think your parents could stand spending so much time with you.
Apparently Ian has a nice photo of your car on the back of a tow truck in his local paper.
