That being said, even within the context of the rest of the sentence, it still doesn't quite make sense. What the hell is "trick"? I have nothing against the rest of the sentence. It makes perfect sense. Perhaps it's just a bit of English colloquialism that I've never heard of before... something along the lines of tricked up, but just shortened.
