KICK. AR$E. NIGHT.

Thanks for organising Andrew. My best was a 1:00:9; beaten mainly by lighter individuals... There was 1.5 seconds between the top 9 racers I think. Pretty bloody close really.

Neil was third; he was the slowest of sub minute guys. Not a bad effort seeing as it was in a kart I did the 1:00:9 in (b@stard)...

2nd and 3rd sets were a blast stuck like glue to Gerard's tail the whole way through. Landed up in a dodgy kart for the last set and dropped 2 seconds. :frown: Should have gone into the pits and swapped. Alas, the wisdom of hindsight.

i think with tracks that aren't so big with dismal opportunities for overtaking, it would be hard to have it grand prix style

Plus they'd have to grid everyone too, so I guess it also is a factor of effort.

I was content to go by best lap time.

You're most welcome Geoff. Thank you for organising your mates.
I'm glad everyone enjoyed it :D

Not sure if I had dud karts in my first 3 sessions and a normal kart on the last one, or normal karts first 3 sessions and a gun-kart on my last one, either way my last kart was by far the best.
