Your car looks fantastic Deez. Some nice extras as well.
DEFINITELY save and get those equips...and when you do, throw in a set for me :P

Thanks zawrilla for the kind words :)

And I totally agree with you on the rims....if I were to buy a new set there's no way I'll be getting fakes. But the problem is I just can't decide on whether to splash out on rims for the car....considering its about 2k landed. 2k will be a substantial chunk of a good stock portfolio!

Help me out peeps...what do I do :(

Do it.

nice car mate  , just a quick one regarding the sparco ultra, did it fit on the stock rails, or did you have to mess around with them a bit? oh and have you got \"legailised\"?

Hey Deez, i recognise your onlineness from JDMST.

Great car, an excellent exercise in turning an MX5 into more of what it should be - a fun to drive car!

Now get those Equips and get thee to Wakefield. Hope to see you down there in my Bar of NC Soap sometime!

Matt

It fitted onto stock rails, but the bottom of the seat needed some minor grinding to get it to fit...it's full fibreglass so that wasn't too much of a problem.

Hey Matt thanks for the kind words...yeh I frequent JDMST more, but just came in here cos realised I didn't have a thread for the car :)

Did you used to have an IS? I would love to have and build it up.

Definitely looking at going to Wakies soon, maybe in the next month or so (ie when the taxman hands me his present each year...hopefully). Will be great to see the bar of soap in action too ;)

Today's mod....LOL. Wrist sweats sure come in handy when they're not fashionable anymore. Not sure if it'll actually make any difference though :P

Yup, still intact, and still does the job (of making the car look better :P ). The problem is that now that I've got that bar of yours, I'm a bit half half about a BD bar because I don't want to part with it :P

Pic of the interior from a photoshoot a few months ago. New aluminium vent rings put in (thanks to Boag's super group buy) 8) I had replaced the tattered NA gearshift boot with a great NB one too. Best bang for buck mod!

I paid a visit to Super Autobacs and also Car Make Corns during the last leg of my recent Japan trip. How could I resist some cheap, easy to transport riceyness? :P

JDM learners plate and Lotus/Eunos badge. The learners plate is on there just for fun....it's a magnet so can be easily taken off and relocated.
Image

Close up of the Lotus/Eunos badge from Car Make Corns. It was a relatlve bargain for 2000 yen.
Image

Nippon flag stickers, one on each side, 100 yen each from Super Autobacs
Image

Car has now been tagged with Car Make Corns logo...a gift from shop owner Kenchi-san :) He's an awesome dude, and drives a white heavily worked NB
Image

Some much needed interior lighting for map reading and stuff. NA interior lighting is pretty woeful so I love this flexy thing, you can bend it to whatever angle you prefer. There's a switch that also lets you change the LED colour, blue or white light. 900 yen from SuperAutobacs.
Image

IPF 5000k globes that were on sale from Super Autobacs...about 1900 yen IIRC.

Just another front on shot while the headlights were up

Where abouts did you have to shave the seat? did it make any difference to the seat it self?

keep up the good work.
